Ihsan have the X-Pro endorsed by Misbah-ul-Haq, former Pakistan Test and ODI captain. Hand-crafted from seasoned English willow with a classic concave profile and a five-piece handle. Every bat here is individually photographed, so you choose the exact one.

What Limited Edition means here

Ihsan make the X-Pro in limited numbers rather than as a standing line, so availability depends on what has been produced and what we have left. If you see one in the selector you want, it is worth taking — we cannot always reorder the same bat.

Matched blade and handle

Most bats are built blade first and handled second. The X-Pro is put together as a pair, and that is what you feel when you pick one up: the bat sits still in the hands instead of pulling through the shot. It is the reason the X-Pro works for a classical batter looking to place a ball and for an aggressive one looking to clear the rope.

Handle and control

A five-piece handle absorbs shock through impact and keeps the blade responsive, available in semi-oval or round and finished with Ihsan's newly developed grip. Want a thicker handle or a chevron grip? Add an extra grip above and we will fit it before dispatch.

Where the Ihsan X-Pro sits in the Ihsan Classic Series

Ihsan build the Classic Series as a ladder, same traditions, better willow as you go up: the Hi-Lux at the entry, then the Hi-Tech, the All Pro, the King, and the Emperor as the flagship. The X-Pro sits outside that ladder as a limited run rather than a standing model.

Pro-knocked, and what still needs doing

Ihsan supply Classic Series bats pro-knocked and ready to play, which puts them well ahead of a raw cleft. We still recommend further knocking around the edges and toe before facing a hard ball. Our Bat Preparation service covers linseed oil, 24 hours drying, 12,000 machine knocks, a scuff sheet and edge tape, and a fitted toe guard can be added too.
