Premium air-dried willow

Air-drying takes months where kiln-drying takes days, and it is the difference between a cleft that performs for seasons and one that goes soft. Ihsan air-dry the All Pro clefts, then hand-craft and press them to bring rebound out of the blade without killing the feel.

Classic concave profile and bat speed

The classic concave shaping is the point of this bat. Scooping the back of the blade takes wood away from where it does nothing useful, so you keep the full hitting area but the bat comes through the line faster. That is what generates power on this profile — speed, not bulk — and it is why the All Pro works for players who score all round the ground.

Handle and control

The five-piece handle absorbs shock through impact and transfers power cleanly, and Ihsan's newly developed grip finishes it. Semi-oval or round shapes are available. Want a thicker handle or a chevron grip? Add an extra grip above and we will fit it before dispatch.

Ihsan supply Classic Series bats pro-knocked and ready to play, which puts them well ahead of a raw cleft. We still recommend further knocking around the edges and toe before facing a hard ball. Our Bat Preparation service covers linseed oil, 24 hours drying, 12,000 machine knocks, a scuff sheet and edge tape, and a fitted toe guard can be added too.
