About this bat

The Black Mamba 2.0 Burn Edition is a premium Kashmir willow heavy tennis ball bat built specifically for power hitters. The 6× hard machine pressing process compresses the willow fibres for a stronger, more responsive blade with better rebound — significantly more than a standard 2× or 3× pressed bat. The Power-Curve profile is shaped for lofted shots, cuts and pulls, making it an aggressive bat for players who like to impose themselves on the game.

The reinforced toe and spine reduce the risk of breakage under heavy use, while the rainproof high-gloss black finish adds moisture resistance — useful for early morning or damp conditions. The Singapore Cane handle provides excellent shock absorption and a comfortable grip through long innings. Compatible with Nivia and Sixer balls stocked at Crystal Sports, and all 120–135g heavy tennis balls. No knocking in or oiling required — ready to play straight away.

Frequently asked questions

Machine pressing compresses the willow fibres to harden the blade, improve rebound, and increase durability. A 6× pressed bat goes through this process six times — significantly more than a standard 2× or 3× pressed bat — resulting in a harder, more responsive blade that holds up better under heavy use with hard tennis balls.
The Power-Curve profile refers to the shape of the blade — designed to maximise power on lofted shots, cuts and pulls. The curve concentrates mass through the hitting zone and is optimised for the aggressive, full-blooded shots that heavy tennis ball cricket rewards.
Designed for heavy tennis balls in the 135g–145g range. At Crystal Sports we stock Nivia and Sixer balls which are both compatible. Not suitable for leather ball cricket.
No — ready to play straight away. No oiling or knocking in required.
Both are power-oriented Kashmir willow heavy tennis bats. The Bandook Burn Edition has larger edges at 50–55mm — the widest profile in the range. The Black Mamba 2.0 differentiates itself through the 6× machine pressing for a harder, more responsive blade, the rainproof finish, and the reinforced toe and spine for durability.
