About this bat

The Bandook Sultan Ultra Burn Edition sits in the middle of the heavy tennis ball bat range — more edge and spine than the Saki King Cobra (35–39mm), but a more controlled profile than the all-out power of the Bandook Burn Edition (50–55mm). The 40–42mm edges and 50–55mm spine give a significant sweet spot with solid power, while still allowing timing-based strokeplay rather than pure slogging. A genuinely versatile bat for heavy tennis ball cricket.

Made from Kashmir willow, the Sultan Ultra Burn is built for the demands of heavy tennis ball play — durable construction that holds up well through regular use. The 30–32mm toe keeps pickup responsive despite the sizeable profile. Compatible with Nivia and Sixer balls stocked at Crystal Sports, and all heavy tennis balls in the 120g–145g range. No knocking in or oiling required — ready to play straight away.

Frequently asked questions

The Sultan sits between the two. The Saki King Cobra has the narrowest profile (35–39mm edges) — the most balanced, timing-oriented bat in the range. The Bandook Burn Edition has the biggest edges (50–55mm) — maximum power. The Sultan Ultra Burn at 40–42mm is the middle ground: more hitting area than the Saki, more control than the Bandook.
