About the GM Noir Limited Edition Cricket Bat
The GM Noir Limited Edition Cricket Bat is the top willow tier of the Noir range, made in England from the very best unbleached seasoned Grade 1 English willow. It keeps GM's traditional L555 blade length and pairs a full profile with large pronounced edges through the drive zone.
It is built for front-foot dominance: a mid to low swell, an F4.5 face profile and a partially concaved back that balances the blade behind all that wood. Finished with the black GM Fuze grip, and individually photographed here so you choose the exact bat.

What Limited Edition means on a GM bat
GM build the same shape across several willow tiers. Limited Edition is the top: the very best unbleached seasoned Grade 1 clefts, selected for grain structure, limited by what willow is available, each individually tested to 5 star performance. Below it sit Original, 909, 808 and 707, which carry progressively more colour and cosmetic blemishes.

Profile, edges and swell
The drive zone is where this bat is engineered to do damage. Large pronounced edges sit behind a mid to low swell, so the middle is low enough to reward driving and hitting through the line, while the partially concaved back keeps the blade balanced rather than blunt.
Handle and grip
A treble spring multi-piece cane handle at the standard 295mm length gives the feel, flex and control GM are known for, finished with the black Fuze grip. Want a thicker handle or a different grip? Add an extra grip above and we will fit it before dispatch.
GM Now!, ToeTek and knocking in
The Noir LE arrives with GM Now! pre-preparation: knocked in by the batmaker in-house, oiled with raw linseed, sealed with a clear anti-scuff cover and fitted with a ToeTek toe guard. GM and Crystal Sports both recommend further knocking around the edges and toe before hard-ball use — our Bat Preparation service does that for you.
