The one8 Cover Drive 18 Pro is a high-performance batting spike co-created with Virat Kohli — built around the demands of a modern top-order batter who takes the game on. It is the technical flagship of the Cover Drive line, in a Jersey White, Sonic Blue and Classic Black colourway.
The upper is a breathable mono mesh with synthetic overlays reinforcing the toe, and perforated forefoot panelling to keep air moving through long innings. A Ghillie lacing system pulls the foot down onto the footbed for a locked-in fit, while the PWR+LCK heel-lock collar anchors the heel through aggressive weight transfers — the fast, repeated shifts that come with playing off the back foot and running hard between the wickets.
Underfoot, Sonic Foam delivers lightweight, high-rebound cushioning for faster takeoffs, and the Boom logo is engineered as a TPU shank sitting between midsole and outsole for torsional rigidity and lateral stability. The Sonic Grip rubber outsole carries 11 spikes — 7 fixed at the forefoot and 4 convertible at the heel — configured specifically for batting footwork.
