About the ASICS 350 Not Out FF Cricket Shoes
The ASICS 350 Not Out FF is the premium all-rounder cricket spike, built for the player who bats, bowls and fields rather than doing one job. ASICS shape it around a light, fast feel so you can move, then stack it with protection where cricket actually chews a shoe up.
This generation brings a lighter synthetic upper, an improved FlyteFoam midsole and an external heel counter. Underneath, a solid rubber outsole runs a 7/4 stud configuration. It is a proper spike, not a trainer with studs glued on.

The 7/4 outsole, and why it matters
Seven metal studs sit under the forefoot, which is where you need bite — pushing off in the crease, turning for a second, changing direction in the field. Four resin studs sit under the heel instead of metal, so the heel releases cleanly through your stride rather than sticking and jarring your knee. That split is the difference between a shoe built for cricket and one built for athletics.
Protection where cricket wears shoes out
Cricket footwear dies at the toe. The 350 Not Out FF answers that with a reinforced toe, a solid stitched toe bumper and ASICS' P-GUARD upper protector across the top of the foot. Combined with the medial wrapping and welded internal support straps, the upper holds its shape through a season rather than folding over after a month of dragging a back foot.
FlyteFoam, GEL and DUOMAX
FlyteFoam is ASICS' cushioning midsole. Its organic fibres spring back to shape each stride, so you get the same cushioning at the end of a long day in the field as at the start. Internal rearfoot GEL takes the impact on landing, and DUOMAX adds a firmer density on the inside edge to resist the foot rolling in. The external heel counter and TRUSSTIC lock the rear of the shoe down so all of that actually does something.
Sizing and fit
Be honest about this one: the 350 Not Out FF comes up slightly small. Plenty of players who take a UK 10 in other ASICS find they want a 10.5 here, and if you have a wider foot you will definitely want to go up. The standard men's width is D. Order the size you normally take and we will exchange it free if it is wrong — or come into the shop, try a pair on, and skip the guesswork entirely.
Replacing the studs
Studs wear, especially the metal forefoot ones if you play on hard grounds. These take standard ASICS cricket studs, so a worn set is a cheap replacement rather than a new pair of shoes. Bring them into the Luton shop and we will change them over for you.
Looking after cricket spikes
Knock the mud off before it dries, let them dry naturally rather than on a radiator, and keep the studs tight — a loose stud strips the thread and then it is a real problem. Do that and a pair of 350s will see you through seasons.
Who are these for?
- All-rounders who bat, bowl and field and want one shoe for all three
- Club and league cricketers playing on grass who need proper spike traction
- Players with a neutral gait wanting cushioning that lasts a full day
- Anyone who would rather replace studs than replace shoes
