Gray Nicolls Neocore 500

The Gray Nicolls Neocore 500 is one of the most technically innovative bats in the GN range — featuring patented NEOCORE technology that fundamentally changes how the bat performs in hand. A cored internal scoop with perimeter weighting shifts the mass distribution around the edges and toe, creating a flat face and convex profile unlike any conventional blade. The result: the scale weight feels 2–3oz heavier than the actual pick-up weight in hand.

The NEOCORE design uses a pinned handle system and flat face with convex profile to maximise the trampoline effect across a wider hitting area. The internal scoop reduces mass from the centre while the perimeter weighting maintains power — delivering a bat that feels lighter to swing than the weight label suggests. Sold by pick-up weight rather than scale weight; always check the variant description to understand exactly how it will feel.

Built on Grade 2 English willow, pressed and profiled to GN's standards. Comes with an anti-scuff sheet.
