The Gray Nicolls Ventus Gen 1.0 Players is the premium tier of GN's iconic Ventus range — Grade 1 English willow, straight grains, and the full Ventus profile that made Babar Azam one of the most elegant batters of his generation. If you want the bat shape behind some of the finest front-foot driving in world cricket, in the best willow the Ventus range offers, this is it.
The blade features the signature mid-to-low sweet spot with large edges, square toe and even-low bow that defines the Ventus shape — built for players who time the ball through the off-side and want a shape that rewards precision as much as power. The Powercurve face maximises the hitting area and delivers exceptional ping, while the semi-oval handle with TRACTION grip gives responsive, confident control through long innings.
Players Edition grade means pristine-looking willow with multiple straight grains and the finest cosmetics in the Ventus range. Comes with an anti-scuff sheet. Requires knocking in before match use. Where our bat preparation service is enabled, we complete this fully before dispatch.
