About this bat
The Gray Nicolls Ventus Gen 1.3 300 is the entry-level bat in GN's Ventus range — the shape made famous by Babar Azam. The 300 brings the full Ventus profile to developing and recreational players at an accessible price: the same distinctive mid-to-low sweet spot, large edges, square toe and even-low bow, in English willow that performs well for the grade.
The Ventus profile is immediately recognisable: mid-to-low sweet spot, large edges and a square toe with an even-low bow that encourages precise front-foot play and powerful drives through the off-side. The Powercurve face maximises the hitting area, and the semi-oval handle with TRACTION grip provides secure control. An ideal bat for players stepping up to serious practice and club cricket who want a proven GN shape.
Entry-level English willow — wider grain, may include some natural markings, pressed and profiled to the Ventus standard. Comes with an anti-scuff sheet. Requires knocking in before match use. Where our bat preparation service is enabled, we complete this fully before dispatch.
