About this bat
The Gray Nicolls Legend Silver Edition is the entry point to GN's iconic Legend range — and still an exceptional cricket bat. The Silver uses Grade 1 English willow from the top 10% of available clefts, with beautiful straight grains and the same iconic mid-blade profile shared across all three Legend editions. For serious club players who want a genuine Grade 1 Legend at a more accessible price, the Silver delivers everything that makes the Legend range legendary.
The blade features a mid blade with exaggerated spine, large offset edges and a classic round toe — the same balance of power and feather-light pick-up as the Gold and Platinum. The semi-oval handle with TRACTION PRO grip delivers responsive feedback and comfort through long innings, with a mid-to-high balance point that belies the bat's powerful profile.
Like all Legend editions, the Silver requires knocking in before match use. The willow may carry slightly more natural markings than the higher grades — performance is comparable across the range. Where our bat preparation service is enabled, we complete oiling, machine-knocking and scuff sheet fitting before dispatch.
