About this bat
The Gray Nicolls Havoc Gen 1.0 Test is built for destruction. A full-profile modern shape with a long sweeping bow, offset edge profile and enlarged sweet spot — engineered for players who want explosive bat speed and boundary-clearing power. The Havoc is one of GN's most aggressive designs, built for the demands of modern limited-overs batting across all formats.
The blade features a mid blade with exaggerated spine and offset edges, creating a large hitting zone with a mid-to-high balance point and a surprisingly light pick-up for such a powerful shape. The semi-square toe and long sweeping bow encourage front-foot dominance and big hitting — ideal for T20 and aggressive white-ball cricket. The Powercurve face delivers optimum ping and feel through the line.
The Test grade uses Grade 2 English willow — wider grain structure, possibly with minor blemishes or wavy grains, but pressed and profiled to the same exacting standards as higher Havoc grades. Performance is identical; the difference is cosmetic. Comes with an anti-scuff sheet. Requires knocking in before match use.
