About this helmet

The Masuri T-Line Steel is Masuri's entry into their T-Line range — one of the most widely worn helmet lines in professional cricket, trusted by players including Joe Root, Usman Khawaja and Tom Latham. Designed and manufactured in Great Britain, the T-Line Steel brings that same pedigree to club and recreational level at an accessible price point, combining a traditional cloth-covered aesthetic with modern safety engineering.

The helmet uses Masuri's Single Shell Protection system — a single moulded shell construction that provides a robust, consistent structure across the entire helmet. The patented Eye-line grille technology positions the steel bars to maximise sightlines while maintaining certified facial protection, addressing the sightline limitations common in older grille designs. Soft cell foam front and back liners contour to the shape of the head, providing a snug fit without the need for a separate adjustor mechanism. Airflow channels are built in throughout to keep players cool through long innings.

The T-Line Steel is fully BS 7928:2013+A1:2019 compliant — the current British Standard for cricket helmets. The cloth-covered outer shell gives it a clean, traditional look that sits alongside both white and coloured kit. Available in Small, Medium, Large and XL — see the size guide in the FAQ below to find your fit.

Frequently asked questions

Masuri sizing is based on head circumference measured around the widest part of the head: Small 55–58cm, Medium 58–60cm, Large 60–62cm, XL 62–64cm. If you're between sizes, go up. The soft cell foam liners will compress slightly over time. If you're unsure, message Yaseer on WhatsApp and he can help.
Masuri's patented Eye-line grille is designed with the steel bars positioned to sit out of the natural sightline when batting. Older grille designs often placed a bar directly across the eye line, which some batters found distracting. The Eye-line design repositions the bars so that visibility is maximised without reducing the level of facial protection.
Yes — the T-Line Steel is BS 7928:2013+A1:2019 compliant, which is the current British Standard required for cricket helmets at all levels of the game. It is suitable for use in all recreational and club cricket. The T-Line spec is the same line worn by international players including Joe Root, Usman Khawaja and Tom Latham in their custom versions.
Yes — the T-Line Steel is compatible with the Masuri stem guard (sold separately). Note that Masuri stem guards are designed for Masuri helmets specifically — fitting a Masuri stem guard to a different brand of helmet will not provide the same level of protection as it is not designed for that fit. Check the Masuri Stemguard Compatibility Guide for full details.
The T-Line Steel uses a stainless steel grille — strong, durable and the traditional choice for most club cricketers. The T-Line Titanium uses a titanium grille, which is lighter than steel while maintaining the same level of protection. The titanium version carries a higher price premium. For most players the steel grille is the practical choice; the titanium version suits players who prioritise minimal weight above all else.
