About this bat
The Kookaburra Beast Pro 6.0 Junior is Kookaburra's junior English willow bat designed for young attacking players ready to play hard-ball cricket at a competitive level. The Beast is Kookaburra's boundary-hunting range — associated with aggressive, front-foot power play in the Glenn Maxwell tradition — and the Pro 6.0 Junior brings that same attacking identity into a properly sized blade for players working their way through junior sizes 4, 5, and 6.
The blade is built around a low sweet spot with a standard Kookaburra face and toe profile — a setup that rewards driving hard through the line and playing straight, generating maximum power when the ball meets the bat through the V. Armour Tec facing is applied at the factory for face protection, and fibreglass taped edges reinforce the profile for the demands of hard-ball junior cricket. The oval handle and Players Bat Grip deliver a secure, comfortable hold through the shot, while a factory toe guard protects the bottom of the blade.
The Beast Pro 6.0 Junior is supplied KPP (Kookaburra Pre-Prepared), meaning it has been factory-pressed and faced — but like all English willow bats it still requires full hand knocking in before match use. Where our bat preparation service is active, we complete this before dispatch so it arrives ready to play. The bat ships with a blade-length cover for transit protection.
