The CA NJ-3000 is the entry-level bat in the CA fibreglass range. The 38mm sweet spot gives a more refined, narrower profile compared to the NJ-5000 and NJ-8000 — and the noticeably lighter pickup makes it the easiest bat in the range to swing quickly. The reduced profile translates to faster bat speed through the hitting zone.
It comes in junior sizes 4, 5 and 6 as well as full adult short handle (SH), so the same bat works for a nine-year-old in the garden and an adult in a tape ball game. A good choice for younger players, those new to tape ball cricket, or anyone who prefers a lighter, faster swing over the widest possible hitting area.
Like all fibreglass bats it’s zero maintenance — no oiling, no knocking in, ready to play immediately. Durable construction holds up well across regular tape ball and windball use.

Size guide
Height matters more than age — go by the player’s height and only use age as a rough cross-check. If they’re between two sizes, take the smaller one: a bat that’s too big is far harder to play with than one that’s slightly short.
