About this bat
The Gray Nicolls Classic Players Range in Harrow size brings Grade 1 English willow and the iconic Classic mid-blade profile to junior players making the step up to serious hardball cricket. The same large edges, exaggerated spine and Powercurve face as the full-size Players bat — scaled precisely for Harrow players typically aged 13–15 or measuring between 5ft 3in and 5ft 6in.
Junior players get full Classic performance: mid-high sweet spot, large edge profile and feather-light pick-up — the same shape trusted by international players — in a bat that's correctly sized for their game and build. Comes with an anti-scuff sheet fitted. Like all English willow bats, knocking in is required before match use — use a lighter mallet appropriate for the smaller blade. Where our bat preparation service is enabled, we complete this fully before dispatch.
