The SG KLR Icon is part of SG’s KL Rahul series and offers a genuinely impressive bat at a great price. Crafted from Grade 3 English willow, traditionally shaped and hard pressed, it carries a full profile with minimal concaving and a mid-to-low sweet spot — based on the profile KL Rahul plays with.
It weighs around 2lb 9oz with massive 39mm edges and 9 straight grains, giving an ultra-light pickup and great ping. The traditional round imported cane handle with cork inserts gives superior grip, control and shock absorption. If you’re after a light, lively bat that punches well above its price, the KLR Icon is a strong choice. Suitable for players 15 years and over (height 5’6”/171cm and above). As with all English willow bats, knocking in is required before match use.
